Warranty & aftercare

We help with aftercare for equipment purchased from Yorkshire Mobility Direct, a trading name of Yorkshire Mobility Hire Limited.

New equipment

Any manufacturer’s warranty is specific to the product. Its duration, parts covered, battery cover and service arrangements should be stated on the individual listing or supplied warranty documents. Please ask us before ordering if these details are unclear. We do not promise a single warranty period across the whole range.

Preloved equipment

Any additional commercial warranty is stated on the individual product listing. There is no blanket three-, six- or twelve-month commercial warranty on all preloved items. Check the listing for the item’s condition, included accessories and any expressly stated cover. Preloved purchases still have statutory rights; disclosed wear does not remove protection against other faults.

If something goes wrong

Email hello@yorkshiremobilitydirect.co.uk or call 0113 460 1236, giving your order number, model and a description of the issue. We will discuss safe checks and the appropriate repair, replacement or return route. Stop using equipment if it may be unsafe. Contact us before arranging chargeable repairs so we can agree the next step.

What commercial cover includes

The actual warranty terms determine whether labour, transport, home visits, batteries or replacement parts are included. We will explain any proposed charge before you agree to it. Normal wear, consumables, accidental damage or misuse may fall outside a commercial warranty; a part being a battery or consumable does not automatically exclude a valid statutory claim.

Your legal rights

A commercial warranty adds to your legal rights and does not replace them. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, taking account of factors including age, price and disclosed condition. You can contact us as the seller about a statutory claim even if a manufacturer’s warranty has expired.

For cancellations and faulty-goods remedies, see our Returns & refunds policy.
